Alongside my work with adults, I support children and young people who may be feeling overwhelmed by their emotions, struggling to make sense of their experiences, or finding life difficult. Children may come to therapy for many reasons, including anxiety, low mood, bereavement, friendship difficulties, or changes at home.

Children do not always have the words to explain what they are feeling. I use a blend of talking, creativity and play-based approaches, including drawing, storytelling, games and imagination, to help children explore their experiences in ways that feel natural and comfortable for them.

Therapy can help children and young people develop a better understanding of themselves, build emotional awareness and find new ways of managing difficult thoughts and feelings. My approach is warm, patient and tailored to each child’s individual needs and stage of development.
